'Lo From Hertfordshire
Hi All,
am a relatively new volvo addict having on had my first V70 since june last year.. and since then on my 4th.
Great cars and I lovvem to bits..
Current daily is a silver 855TDi which I may have a little tweak of at some point. But in meantime enjoying the 45Mpg from it...
At the moment trying to sell my red 855R
and just sold green V70 TDi
I hope to get to some shows this year too!
Cheers

welcome to the forum, some nice Volvo's you've got. Put an R bumper on the silver TDi & you'll have most people confused wondering why a 850R is rattling lol. I'm guessing from your username you used to have a Mitsi VR4, my bro had a nice one many years ago (manual as well which is rare i hear)

Yes I was thinking about a bumper at some point It would be a nice touch I think, either that or just a black chin spoiler to get the front lower to the ground. I have just sold the Volans and on some 940 15s which doesn't loook too bad as car is 40mm down. If I ever find some galaxies, polaris' .... :
And yes I have had a few legnums over past 10 or so years sold my last one in autumn great cars and had loadsa fun times - to and from the gas station
Are you in a petrol or diesel volvo at the mo?

Lo Steve, Cheers Well just had cambelt and diesel pump timing and seeing 50s on long runs and my daily commute with a mix of town and motorway returning 44 average so am v happy. But I am definitely going to do downpipe, decat and maybe slightly freeer flowing exhaust and will get one of those RonBox tuning boxes just to bump up power a little to see how it behaves, Totally smitten with these cars and just seem to run on and on .. How long have you had yours? I would like to get to 500k miles if I can.
One day in the distant future, I would like to be back in a 850. A t5 or R saloon I hope.. I have an ECU waiting to go into that

Hi Kim, thanks for the welcome... I did see the pix of Robs one nose to nose to the white wheeled silver beauty. I like that pic..
I have been having a nosey around the site yes.. everyone seems friendly.
I hope I can get myself to a couple of shows this year, I am guessing BHP is favourite around here?

No problemo
yes that pic is good, they look good together with the white bits.. just need to convince him the derv needs white wheels... maybe when the weather gets a little better!!
The forum can be a little quiet at times, but dont let that put you off it gets pletny of use, any and questions there is bound to be someone on here with the answer!
Yes the BHP show is a cracker!
there are some pictures in one of the threads, have a look and on the volvo850.co.uk home page there are plenty of videos of Lydden, its a good day, last year we had a great turn out, the volvos looked the dogs b******s all together lined up!
Defo worth going to! hopefully we will be blessed with the same good weather as last year!
and i think there is a plan to maybe get a whole track session booked out with volvos, just for the fun of it!
