i'll probably creep round you & get you to weld the diff when i come down to swop the gearbox internals over for me, can't see it being this side of Christmas tbh

thank you sir, can't wait to pop down. Mines an early gearbox with the speed sensor, so the diffs got the speed ring on it just to be a pain

Just driven it home
About 25 miles
And it's perfect
No problems at all
Apart from parking when I got home SmileSmileSmile
Had to have 2 shunts Razz

thanks very much for the offer, but the bank mans telling me to clear off already this month. & think it'd be dearer to courier it than if i brought it down myself, i'll just have to be patient & besides be good to meet up

great thread always wondered what it would be like to weld a fwd diff!! i need a fresh clutch before i would consider welding it up though it slips enough as it is lol

I expected it to be un drivable on the road!
It's a bit erratic now but that's how I like it SmileSmileSmileSmile
Time for some suspension mods now SmileSmile
