Red 1996 855R auto for sale

Due to an unforseen change in job and circumstances I have regrettably had to put this fine Volvo 855R up for sale  

I bought the car back in August 2013...with some plans to mildly mod and squeeze some more power out..but alas did not get the opportunity and so this example is pretty much standard except for the tower strut brace.

The car starts and drives great with no strange knocks or noises, pulls very well through all the gears emitting
that lovely addictive 5 cylinder growl, enhanced by an aftermarket cat back exhaust which is not in the slightest bit loud
or droney but it always puts a grin on my face.



Its been well looked after by through the years by enthusiasts and this is evident when seen in the metal. The bodywork and panels are in great condition with hardly any marks and no dents. The red is still vibrant. On the inside, the seats and interior are all in good nick with no rips tears or stains as you can see from the pictures. The premium sound system with additional factory amp sounds great. New Vibe and pioneer speakers have been fitted a few months ago.

As for the mechanicals, all is well there..as the car has been regularly serviced by enthusiats. The Cambelt and associated components were changed less than 10k miles ago, so there are no worries there.

The only outstanding jobs are to
regass the AC
replace the tailgate rams (which I will probably do).

The front tyres are getting low too ( I do have some tyres I could put on so planning to do this if I get em off my other car)

Apart from that nothing else untoward to report that I can think of apart from v occasional whir which could be very start of
rear bearing or the usual uniroyal rainsport 2 noise..



The MOT is valid till the end of august and there is TAX till the end of May.

So if you are on the hunt for one of these appreciating classics, then you would do well to at least take a look at this example..
