BHP SHOW LYDDEN HILL 5th may 2014

I know its a long way away
and im normally the one to leave everything until the last minute:)  

but

the bhp show at lydden hill are already taking bookings for their 2014 show

we had a good turnout last time but i want more cars on the club stand this year:)        

over the next couple of weeks im going to start getting a list together
there is a maximum of 30 cars on the stand so it'll have to be first come first served

Hopefully we will get a good turn out let's try and make it better than last year
Although last year was brilliant!!
Lydden needs to be taken over by Volvo's!

Put me down Bert I will be there might have to bring me on the truck if can't get bits done in time lol

but it looks like the club stand isn't happening now
No one seems interested
I'll wait a few more weeks
Maybe until March
Just to see if we can get enough together for a meet

im up for this again............ill make sure I bring my licence this time though   ive done plenty of work on the old girl and although shes far from finished im sure itll be ready in time

What have you been doing to her?? Have you popped any posts up? Can't say I have seen them :/ but I'm usually missing lots of stuff! :/

tbh ive not been very active on the forums just lately,had a small issue with losing my licence,but Im back behind the wheel again so progress will pick up as for the work ive done...lets just say it was lucky I never raced at the bhp show coz ill probably be dead now lol I took it for an mot a couple of weeks after and turns out I had 3 naffed shocks..bushes gone on the rear beam..rear anti roll bar was broke in half..drop links missing!! and the front anti roll bar bushes where dead.......so ive put a new (second hand) rear beam in and a v70r arb which is 2mm thicker   new drop links and bushes upfront and also my favourite bit.......adjustable coilovers   now just got to fit new outer handbrake cables and that's the mot fail sheet complete...then its putting the engine bits back together..cam cover,3" maf and intake pipes,adjustable fuel reg,and 4.4 ecu upgrade with custom map and I think that's about it lol oh and changed the wheels for comets

Still repairing the track car from the smash
And I got forged rods for Xmas so I'm building an engind for the road car
Long way to go but I'll get there in the end

nice one,i think my next step will be forged rods but that's for another day lol
