UK street cars Southend meet Sat 11th Aug anyone?

UK streetcars are having southend meet on Sat 11th August, I know it's the day before the Lydden circuit meet but thought maybe those who can't make Lydden could go to this one?

just looked on the website and looks like it'll be worth a trip just for the promo girls

this event is always VERY busy and normally full of hot hatches but is normally a good night out kicks off at 8pm but recommend you get there early if you want a parking space on seafront drove through last event at about 6pm and seafront was rammed if enough interest e-mail the convoys link and they sometimes reserve parking spaces i'm up for it as its only 10miles from where i live

Not sure if it was the same meet, organised by these guys but i went to a meet here last year and was brilliant, so many cars...
Was a brilliant night, great to see all the different cars and a lovely drive up there from down on the marsh
getting there early sounds like a plan
